I just reserved airfare from Portland, OR to Sao Paulo
Brazil via Chicago on United Airlines for $910 r/t including
taxes (but not travel visa fees needed for Brazil). This
is a wholesale/discounted fare (not a student fare) and is
subject to all sorts of penalties if I change my mind (which
I WON'T BE :-)
I'm leaving Portland on 29 Jan, arriving Sao Paulo on 30 Jan,
and leaving Sao Paulo on 8th Feb arriving Portland on
9 Feb.
My long time international travel agent is Nancy, currently
at "Journeys": 503/226-7943 ext 34. I have with dealt with her
on numerous occasions over the years and have found her to
be knowledgeable and professional. If you call her up, please
let her know that Darci sent you :)
Note to Americans traveling to Brazil - apparently you must
request a travel visa in advance which requires that you get
your passport to a consulate and back (if you don't live near
one) before you leave.
