Henry,

A courier flight is a very easy way to get to your destination and at the
same time save money. You normally but not always (especially on the return leg)
give up your two suitcase baggage allowance in order for the courier company to
use that space to carry their documents and shipments that are going to your
destination. You never see or have to handle the shipment. You are given a
manifest at the airport by the couier company rep and you deliver the manifest
to the rep in your destination city. After that you are free to do whatever you
want till your return flight.

All courier companies are bonded and you never carry drugs, guns or any other
things the media or the movies might have you believe. Mainly they are business
documents, parts, etc.. that need to get there and clear customs right away.

You are allowed your normal carry on baggage. It's great for people that love
to travel light but it's not for Ivana Trump. You can learn all you want to know
if you go to my courier page.

Ok, this sounds great, but could someone please explain what a courier
flight is exactly? What airlines do you fly on? The term courier flight
seems to imply that you will be bringing something down to South America,
or back from South America.
