Anyway, she has reserved 1 two-bedroom, 2 bathroom suite at The President
Hotel for us for 3/15 - 3/20 and 6 'golden circle' tickets to the show. I
also reserved a single and a double room for $50 each for Sat 3/14 (Jan,
Mary and I will be in Cape Town that night and can then move to the suite
on Sun). The suite is ~$305/night. However, she once again told me we
have to pay for the tickets and the rooms for the 14th ahead of time. And
they only accept payment in Rand (no credit cards). This poses a problem.
I will call my friend Uwe in Jo-burg to see what he might be able to
arrange. I suppose I could wire him some money and he could send a check
to them. However, I am only willing to do this if everyone commits
immediately to The President Hotel (including Sat night Jan and Mary) and
to tickets. I'm sure I could sell extras at the stadium, but I'd rather
not worry about it, and concentrate on the show.
Jan and Mary, are you in for a double room at The President Hotel on Sat,
3/14 and golden circle tickets (~$53 each).
Karen and Christine, are you in for golden circle tickets?
