Dance to the Popmart, the top of the food chain. Listen to the countdown,
they're playing our song again.

You've never seen chaos until you've fought your way into a south american
football field. Gates opened very early, about 2-something. It was give
your ticket and mad run. I managed to get within a couple of rows of the
b-stage, I guess since locals were all running for the front.

The show, to say the least, was AMAZING. No real setlist changes, EXCEPT
for Bad. It was creepy to hear it, and obvious they haven't played it for
a bit. It still sent chills down my spine to be packed in wall to wall
people, lighters going, haze in the sky above, listening to that song.

My cool moment was about halfway through the show. One of the guys I'd
met from the crew in Vancouver spotted me by the b-stage. He came over,
and just said "what the HELL are you doing in Brazil?? Your girlfriend
told me in Seattle you got around, but geez!" Don't really want to
mention any names right now, just he doesn't show for his promise to me of
a BACK STAGE TOUR today at 1. I'm so excited I don't think I slept last
night. It wasn't just because my ears were ringing either. ;-)

I'm not a really poetic person, so I'll pretty much let the description
end there. I did like the start though. Where Bono normally starts with
"MO.....FO! Mo......FO!" he started with "Sao Paulo......Sao....Paulo!"

It was cool. Life is good. The clouds are lifting, it's going tobe a
scorcher here today. 35C or so.....

I'm not coming down,

Jason, some people go to the beaches of Rio, I find peace in the neon.
